Chinese Head, Neck & Shoulder Massage

Release, Relax, Acupuncture

Tuina massage originated in ancient China and is believed to be the oldest system of bodywork. The goal of tuina massage is to create harmony in the yin and yang of the body by getting rid of blockages and disturbances that manifest as illness, disease, and emotional issues. Similar to acupuncture, tuina massage uses the same energetic meridians and acupoints to balance the qi and blood in your body, leading to better health.

I created this treatment for those with tension in the shoulders and upper back. Many people keep piling up stress in this area. I constructed it as a smaller package with the intention of the visits being more frequent, to really go on a journey with it. Even though it seems like a long journey to heal, with proper guidance and periodical bodywork your shoulders could be cured for the rest of your days.

I work with the pressing of acupuncture points here, which can be slightly painful. I do this with the needed care and respect toward your pain tolerance. By pressing and stroking, with the right intention, I facilitate relaxation and release of all that no longer serves you. We will finish off with a gentle head and face treatment. The intensity is optional.

The course of the visit is as followings:

Welcoming and intake conversation.

The requested treatment.

Rest after the treatment.

A small talk to review the healing.
